About the Company

Not all heroes wear capes. Some just carry a french press and a questionable map.

At Exotic Joe Coffee, we believe coffee isn’t just a drink — it’s a story. And the best stories start where the map ends.

Every bag we offer tells part of the story — bold in flavor, rich in spirit. You might imagine a hint of a high-altitude harvest, feel a whisper of volcanic soil, or feel the unmistakable essence of “how did he even find this place?”

Each small batch we roast is worthy of the legend, and we never settle for average — because we're better than the average Joe.

So whether you’re a curious beginner or a grizzled brew veteran with a passport full of coffee stains, there’s a place for you in this story.

Join the mission. Drink Boldly. Brew bravely.
Adventure is brewing. Don’t miss it.

About Exotic Joe

Resident Jungle Brewologist. Supreme Roaster of the Unknown. Sipper of the Sacred Roast

No one knows exactly where Exotic Joe was born. Some say he emerged fully grown from a burlap sack of beans. Others claim he was raised by a pack of wild baristas deep in the hills of Ethiopia.

What is known is this: Joe’s life changed forever the moment he sipped his first cup of coffee. The skies opened. A toucan winked at him. Somewhere, a conga drum played itself.

From that moment on, Joe was hooked — not just on the brew, but on the quest for the perfect cup. He knew he couldn't go back to a life of fluorescent lighting, spreadsheet induced despair, and Susan from accounting. Armed with only a field journal, an unhealthy caffeine tolerance, and a machete he bought off a guy named "Rusty,"  Exotic Joe set out on his quest — to uncover forgotten farms, decode ancient roast rituals, and sip brews so bold they’ve been banned in five countries and one very uptight monastery.

Since then, he’s roamed the globe:

  • Navigating ancient trade routes by the scent of Arabica alone
  • Brewing a single cup so bold it caused a yeti to give up energy drinks forever
  • Escaping jungle traps using nothing but espresso shots and raw determination

Along the way, Joe vowed to bring the world’s boldest, most exciting beans back to civilization — to fuel fellow adventurers, dreamers, and people who accidentally ordered a double shot at 9 p.m.

Not just a brand. A mission. A movement. A man with too much energy and absolutely no chill.

Drink boldly. Brew bravely. Live like Joe.

Leadership

Marcus
Founder, Head of Global Bean Intelligence

Former intelligence officer. Now a seeker of legendary beans.

As the story goes, before joining forces with Exotic Joe and tracking coffee across continents, Marcus navigated the darker corners of global intelligence in worlds most people only hear about in redacted reports. He completed advanced training with a variety of federal agencies, mastering the art of intelligence gathering, threat detection, and the fine balance between discretion and action, as he worked in the high-stakes environment of national security. Marcus served as a counterintelligence officer with one of the nation’s most premier intelligence agencies, supporting elite special operations teams on missions in complex environments that rarely made the headlines and bad intel could mean real consequences (and bad coffee was the least of your worries).

But fate (and caffeine) introduced him to Exotic Joe. One shared cup of a mysterious jungle roast later, and the mission changed: helping Exotic Joe locate the most elusive coffee beans on Earth. Today, Marcus applies his unique skills to track down hidden farms, decode rare harvest cycles, and figure out how to ship beans from volcanoes without drawing attention from coffee cartels.

From farms guarded by howler monkeys to places so remote even GPS gives up, Marcus is the man behind the mission — and the one you want on your side when things get bold.
